Am I really on top of my game?

“For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin – real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life.” -ALFRED D. SOUZA, philosopher.

It’s time to check in with your time, or probably your response will be I DON’T HAVE ANY!!

When  was the last time you stopped to ask yourself  “Am I really on top of my game?”

You have permission to pause right here and now, and ask yourself that question, then write whatever comes to you, doesn’t matter how long it takes you.

How long did you need? If it was a while that may well just reflect how much we need to slow down to speed up!

Is there something out of balance right now for you to achieve all you desire?

Does that to do list seem to be so far out of your reach that it’s building overwhelm and anxiety??…. Have you stopped to count how many plates are you actually juggling right now? 4, 6, 10?

Maybe you are a mum too?

Being a mum and a successful woman in business, is not about being a plate spinner you are a actually a miracle worker……

So mum or not please for a moment, and consider where you actually factor in all the current plate spinning!!!

You are the reason that you do what you do, create what you do and have the success that you have, however……..WE, AS WONDERFUL WOMEN TEND TO NOT REWARD, OR COMPLIMENT OURSELVES ON HOW BRILLIANT WE ARE.

It seems we are unable to cease finding fault with ourselves and step into gratitude and compliments for all that we do, are and achieve in our lives. Too many of us leave our lives and in fact our souls, if we are not fully aligning with our true purpose and living our lives with wellbeing as our priority as if it is the oxygen we need every moment of every day, what if we did however did just that. Inhale the reality of wellbeing and exhale just the thought.

It so easy to criticise ourselves……the more we criticize ourselves for not reaching perfection, the less perfection we reach.

Womens stress related illness have increased 400% since

A person with an imaging faculty trained to image only good, brings into his life “every righteous desire of his heart” – health, wealth, love, friends, perfect self-expression, his highest ideals

It is time for you, starting today, to connect to more of what you need.

BALANCE within yourself is it often not recognised, most definitely not achieved and very much off the achievement list or intention list for this week, next or this year!

he case that you are flying so high in your career or business and feel empowered by all of your achievements…but then realise it’s been all or nothing in just one area of your life.

As a woman, and a woman of our times, more often than not the pressure to succeed, reach 5/6//7 figures literally overpowers all other aspects of our lives.

Balance has seemed to be unobtainable, let alone possible. How can you have time for Life when the world and you demand so much of yourself!!

In this busy modern world we have all begun to understand the power of meditation, journaling and planning….yet that focus can too often tend to be on just your business and what you desire within it and forget adding you into your daily plan of all you actually need to flourish in life and your business..

When was the last time your were able to dedicate a little more time to your  overall well being? and by wellbeing, what I mean is the feeling of being well? Energized, rested, vibrant?

Women often as said, push themselves so hard in this competitive world, that they forget the importance of their own wellbeing.

To often we reach burnout, adrenal fatigue, plagued by chest infections, sore throats or susceptible to any infection. If your business is YOU, if your Brand is YOU, what happens when YOU can not fully function?

There are many ways in which the female entrepreneur of today, business owner and high flyers in the corporate world can really create more balance, vibrancy and reach optimal health. So often as we are in a rush we tend to skip the importance of what our body needs, what you need, and instead focus on what you need for everyone else.

Here are 5 top tips to add in to your daily routine to help you reach optimal health, add YOU into your daily, weekly and monthly planner:

1. Meditate daily to calm your busy mind and focus your intentions, just 10 minutes a day can make a huge difference to your mental and physical wellbeing and meditation can be done anywhere, whether at home or traveling.

2. Journal daily on all that you desire to manifest in your life and allow the universe to hear your desires. ournalling is an ancient tradition, one that dates back to 10th century Japan. Successful people throughout history have kept journals. Presidents and many famous figures. Oscar Wilde, 19th century playwright, said: “I never travel without my diary. One should always have something sensational to read on the train.” the power of your journal is your pathway to all your future successes. There is increasing evidence to support the notion that journaling has a positive impact on physical well-being. University of Texas at Austin psychologist and researcher James Pennebaker contends that regular journaling strengthens immune cells.

3. Plan your weekly food and meals: what foods you can eat to add more nourishment and enrichment to your body mind and soul, note your food directly correlates to your mood 100%. So for e.g in your busy schedule: if you have 3 lunches and 2 dinners with clients, think about what adaptations you can make with:

A. Your food choices, aim to stay away from refined sugars, highly refined carbohydrates and false energy foods such as chocolates and baked goods and excessive coffee and alcohol during the events/lunches/dinners.

B. What will you eat though the rest of the day before and after your event to ensure you maintain balance, avoid overeating, and guarantee optimal nutrition. So if you know you will be out for lunch, choose a nutrient dense smoothie with greens, protein and good fats, eat a lighter option for lunch such as soups and salads (avoid buttering the bread and instead ask for olive oil, or ditch the bread completely! If having wine, be self disciplined to have only 1 glass, add ice and mineral water to it too, and drink a large glass of water before you eat your food.

4. Create space and time to move and workout, this should be a non negotiable part of your day, and a time that no one should interfere with, not even your own mind. And we know your mind can be very persuasive in these situations. Allocate 10-30 minutes minimum each day for you to move your body. Run, Hiit session, dance like your 5 years old with the music loud asking everyone to look at you because you’re loving you and loving life.

5. Love yourself more, each and every day love feeling well, love being you, love feeling connected and grounded and living life with more vibrancy, the more you are loving yourself , your life, your body and love with gratitude, the greater the life you will live.

And here’s a bonus number 6: DELEGATE- where possible, get a house cleaner, or send the laundry to be ironed, get your partner to get on board with healthy living and cooking and get them to join in and learn cooking and workout with you too or find a friend that will be super excited to be your accountability buddy for a healthier lifestyle.

We all have the same amount of seconds, minutes and hours of each day, we can live happily when we are able to better manage our events through our days when we have a plan, otherwise our time will run away, create overwhel, increase stress and move you further away  from your desired wellbeing goal.

Remember you are an incredible woman and the greater your wellbeing the more your life is empowered with an aligned intention to live your best life..
