1. What made you come to Australia? Why Australia?

I was curious! I decided to come to Australia, because this was a country I have never visited before, I also liked that they speak English here, so language wasn’t going to be an issue, and the climate was an important factor too. Sunny Australia, big country and full of possibilities and mystery!

2. What inspired you to start your own business?

I believe that I started like many businesses, trying to improve what was already out there. In my case I want to provide high quality treatments for women, I want to pamper my clients and create a unique experience for them. I do not focus on time, or sales, but focus on pure quality and the results.

When I came to Sydney I realized there is a gap for real customer oriented and centered treatments. I have been to numerous clinics, spas, shops in order to find that perfect treatment and I couldn’t find it anywhere in Sydney.

Then, I thought I wanted to start my own small and professional business and offer exactly the precise treatments I wanted to find for myself! See, I love wellness, facial treatments and massage therapies.

3. What was the hardest thing in building your business?

Finding the right location for my clients.

4. How do you see yourself in 10 years?

I see Bombon Massage as a thriving, successful and well established wellness centre in Sydney, where you can find bliss, peace and your Me Time.

And regarding me, I see myself managing Bombon Massage and managing an organization that connects and supports the development of women in business.

5. You are hosting networking meetups. Tell me more about that?

Yes, I am the organizer of the Successful Women in Business Meetup. I prepare and host events for women that are interested in self development, in business development, that want to be inspired and are looking to connect with like minded women. And we have more than 600 members on the Meetup. I am focused on providing quality networking for the members. And it has been an amazing experience!

6. What is your favorite spot in Sydney?

Probably Bronte beach, love the fact that is not so crowded, you can find shadow and it is so relaxing and beautiful. I also love the walk between Bondi to Coogee.

7. Do you have a success phrase or a moto that drives you in life and in business?

A couple of my favorites are:

At the end, winning is sleeping better – Jodie Foster

Dwell on the beauty of life. Watch the stars, and see yourself running with them – Marcus Aurelius

8. What is your daily routine?

Uh, it really depends on the day, but some of my daily essentials would be the stretching routine in the morning, between 5 to 20 minutes depending how much time I have. Meditation. Answering emails. Answering Facebook and/or LinkedIn messages, unless is one of the no social media day I love having whenever possible. Having clients during the day. Walking, I love to walk, as often and as much as possible. Reading in the afternoon. Spending time with my love is an essential part of my days as well, and of course, connecting with my family and friends.

9. How the treatment you provide is different than what the others can offer?

My style of treatments are provided with a positive and healing mindset, with empathy and from the heart. Besides that, I always strive to be better than I was yesterday, and I am always looking of ways, courses, books, and value that can increase my knowledge and experience. I want to be able to really make a difference in my clients’ life and my experience and personal development play a key factor in it.

10. Who is your bigger supporter?

I am lucky I have three big supporters. First my partner, he has been an incredible support, my rock. He is always encourages me and believes in me. I also cannot do it without my loving parents. They are smart, hard working and beautiful. I am forever grateful to have them all in my life.

12. A wish to IWConnected platform?

I wish that your community flourishes in more countries, that you bring more women together and that women reach out for this empowering community that provides us with resources, opportunities and connections.
