Ela Staniak Wellness Training GroupShe grew up in Poland but studied fitness, sport coaching and wellness coaching in Sydney which has allowed her to put her healthy lifestyle into a new perspective. Over the past 7 years she has worked in various Sydney Fitness centers and run two of her businesses as a Personal Trainer and Wellness Transformation Coach. Her passion has always been to promote a balanced mental and physical approach to her client’s goals. Today she is committed to empowering and helping women to achieve their maximum potential in health by improving their well-being, by breaking bad habits and by implementing new healthy long term solutions into their life.

What made you come to Australia? Why Australia?

When I was living in Ireland I felt like I wasn’t getting anywhere. I wasn’t productive and I didn’t work towards anything meaningful. I was 20 years old and I was partying my life away. After a while that got boring!

I came to Australia mostly seeking lifestyle change and to study fitness, and to explore the unknown- it was a real adventure from day one!

What inspired you to start your own business?

Unfortunately, my first personal training business fell through, because I didn’t have a clear vision of what I wanted to achieve. I also let my (pretty messy at that time) personal life to affect my business. My whole life felt chaotic at the age of 22.

I then went off and started working for various Sydney health clubs as a fitness instructor and personal trainer.  Eventually, I become a club manager of one small health club in Neutral Bay, Sydney.

In May 2016 the gym where I worked suddenly closed down. I showed up to work one day only to find out we were closing that very same day. There I was left with about 25-30 session a week booked, but with no place to conduct them, my work sponsored visa no longer valid and for the first time in a very long time – jobless. I will never forget that day. I don’t think there was time to process everything that has happened, no time for a shock. I also knew I could do whatever I wanted and soo..

This is when Wellness Training Group was born.

I decided to invest all my energy into building my own business based on values of integrity, honesty, healthy living and transformational coaching.

I decided to study further and graduated level 3 in Wellness Coaching. At the beginning of this year (2017) I launched Wellness Transformation Programs for women available on my Website.

Work With Me

It’s amazing how much we can achieve within one year when we put our mind into it!

What was the hardest thing in building your business?

Managing the time in a way that my work doesn’t overtake my life. I have been blessed with very busy mind, the mind that does not stop! I get creative ideas front back and center but I am not always that good at executing them all (laughing).

I needed to learn how to select the ideas, prioritize daily and weekly tasks as well as find time for myself so that I am the best I can be for my loved ones, and my clients.

How do you see yourself in 10 years?

Oh that’s easy!

No 1: Being a super mumma! I see myself having a family. I see having children as the next level into my adolescence. I am excited to share with you that my partner and I are planning our wedding for September next year.

No 2. I see myself helping people on a bigger scale by running speaking events like Wellness Workshops and Health and Wellness Events. I want to share my story with people and I hope it will empower others to improve their health.

No 3. Being healthy, happy and …10 years wiser! I take time everyday to learn something new about the world. I take interest in self development, success building, the power of mind – really anything “mind and body” related. I just really enjoy exploring life in its all aspects.

You are hosting free webinars to give advises to women on Facebook. Tell me more about that?

Sure! Every Wednesday I hold Facebook Life Chat called W.O.W – Wellness on Wednesday which is dedicated to all women who are ready to improve their health and wellness. All ladies are welcome to join, leave their comments, ask questions and share their experiences. Every week has got a different focus. We keep it kind, bubbly but motivating!

What is your favourite spot in Sydney?

I think I have got a few:

I love Neutral Bay- it’s such a cool suburb. I have been working in the lower North Shore on and off over the past 7 years and have met some amazing people. I love it!
I must mention Eastern Suburbs. I live in Randwick! Living in this area feels like going away every weekend. Love doing my running around Centennial Park and of course old famous Coogee – Bondi. There are so many cool little cafes and restaurants too!

Do you have a success phrase or a moto that drives you in life and in business?

YES! Love this question!

“Many things in life aren’t equal but everyone gets 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We make time for what we truly want.”

What is your daily routine?

I wake up at 4 am from Mon-Friday. I start my day with shower and hot green tea with lemon, honey & apple cider vinegar, sometimes a solidly seeded toast – depends how busy my schedule is. That wakes up my body. On my way to work I get Siri to read my Life Script out at loud. That puts me in a right frame of mind and refocuses my attention on all the things that I want for myself. It’s important for me to discipline my mind with positivity and good energy first thing in the morning. It is a form of mindfulness practice. Life script really works – I strongly recommend it. It includes all my dreams/goals with the smallest details, my approach to life, how I want to treat people, my core values and motivational quotes, and what kind of person I want to be.

I Start my Personal Training work at 5 am and work throughout the day until about lunch time. I of course take a short breaky break too! I go home for lunch and after a short break I exercise. I do strength training 2-3 time a weeks, cardio 2-3 times a week. I like listening to my podcast during cardio sessions or during driving from and to work.

Then I do at least a couple of hours of work on my Wellness Coaching business everyday.

I cook dinner every evening. I must confess that the slow cooker became my best friend in the kitchen. Both, my partner and I love homemade food, and using slow cooker allows us to eat healthy without spending huge amount of time in the kitchen during the week.

I do grocery shopping every wednesday and try to plan my meals ahead so we don’t need to worry about meals during the week.

I go to bed very early around 8.30pm to make sure I get enough sleep so my body repairs from training, and my mind recharges for the next day.

Weekends for me are all about relaxing, meeting with friends, doing the things I want to do and only small portion of work if necessary.

How the services you provide are different than what other wellness coaches can offer?

As a Wellness Transformation Coach what I offer you is a non-judgmental environment to talk confidentially about anything which may block you from succeeding. I will stand by your side and encourage you to dream big. I will be your cheerleader until you become your own best friend and the greatest version of yourself. I will facilitate your wellness transformation until you thrive and shine like the brightest star in the sky, and lastly I will help you explore abundance in health and confidence. I truly listen to your words! Over the years I have developed great communications skills and ability to lead you in achieving your dreams. I want to see you grow.

I am on a mission to contribute to overall well-being in our society by:

  • promoting a healthy and achievable lifestyle
  • living by values of integrity, understanding, honesty and love
  • nurturing the ideology of “Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean” – Ryunosuke Akutagawa
  • having the ride of the the century doing it all!

I am standing up for all women because we deserve to feel healthy and beautiful, the way nature intended.

My Husband to be !

A wish to IWConnected platform?
